My TIP: Arrange a tour with a private guide – www.DovolenaBarcelona.cz / Our friend, a certified Barcelona guide – Richard Hladík, will arrange tickets for you and you will learn a lot of interesting things that you would miss during an individual tour.
2. Park Güell
Colorful fairytale park with mosaic benches, pavilions and views of the city. Another Gaudí’s masterpiece, where nature and architecture nature and architecture. Tickets must be booked in advance again, and here too you can use the services of a private Barcelona guide.
3. Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic) / Vacation in Barcelona
A maze of narrow streets with historic buildings, romantic squares, cafes and boutiques. You will also find the Catedral de Barcelona here, directly opposite the Hotel Lamaro:
4. Picasso Museum / Vacation in Barcelona
A must for art lovers, you will find here hundreds of works by Pablo Picasso, especially from his early period.
5. Camp Nou (or newly Spotify Camp Nou)
Home of the famous football club FC Barcelona. Even if you are not a football fan, the stadium and museum are worth a visit.
6. La Rambla /Vacation in Barcelona
The famous promenade that runs from Plaza Catalunya to the sea. It is full of street performers, stalls and atmosphere. Watch out for pickpockets!
7. Barceloneta Beach – even a separate vacation in Barcelona
An ideal place to relax by the sea after a day full of walking. You can have tapas, sangria or just relax on the sand. I recommend renting bikes and riding the trail around the coast on your own. I believe that more than one coastal restaurant or bar will attract you.
8. Montjuïc / Vacation in Barcelona
A hill with beautiful views, a cable car, an Olympic stadium, a fortress and a magic fountain. Light and music shows take place here in the evening. A well-known water show with music and lights, which takes place in the evening in front of the Palau Nacional. A great free experience!
9. Casa Batlló and Casa Milà (La Pedrera)
Two more iconic buildings by Gaudí that show his unmistakable style. Both are located on the elegant Passeig de Gràcia.
10. Markets – especially La Boqueria / Vacation in Barcelona
An ideal place to taste fresh ingredients, fruits, seafood or tapas. The La Boqueria market near La Rambla is the most famous.
11. Roof terraces with breathtaking views / Vacation in Barcelona
The last tip is one of my favorites. What would a vacation in Barcelona be without visiting one of the iconic roof terraces. If something surprised and thrilled us about Barcelona, it is the hotel roof terraces with breathtaking views. Some terraces are also open to the public – if there is a bar / restaurant. Of course, it is ideal to stay directly in the hotel and have unlimited access to the terrace.
