From here you can get to the source of the So\u010da River or to the breathtaking Vrata Valley with a view of Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia. I will mention the Vrata Valley in one of my next travel tips. This valley is also known for one of the most beautiful Slovenian waterfalls &#8211; Peri\u010dnik.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Is_it_possible_to_swim_in_Lake_Jasna_in_Slovenia\"><\/span>Is it possible to swim in Lake Jasna in Slovenia?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"242\" data-end=\"574\">As for swimming, yes, it is possible. However, it is good to keep in mind that the water is cold even in summer, because the lake is fed by mountain streams from the Julian Alps. However, the water temperature in the summer months varies slightly in each part of the lake, which many tourists do not know. But it is good to know that Lake Jasna in Slovenia is quite deep, so if you are not sure of your swimming abilities in icy water, it is better to stay close to the shore. During our last vacation in Slovenia, it was possible to go to Lake Jasna with a paddleboard or kayak. Lake Jasna itself is within easy walking distance from the center of Kranjska Gora. But feel free to go there by car, there is a picturesque road with views of the surrounding peaks.<\/p>\n<p>Lake Jasna in Slovenia has relatively well-organized parking. Right at the entrance to the complex there is an official parking lot, which is paid, but reasonably priced. However, expect higher prices and early booking.
