In the surrounding area, you&#8217;ll find small rocky coves with turquoise water that are also ideal for snorkeling. Nearby is <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Salvador Dal\u00ed&#8217;s<\/span><\/span> house in Port Lligat, which is one of the most interesting museums in Catalonia.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"854\" data-end=\"1126\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Tossa_de_Mar_%E2%80%93_Costa_Brava\"><\/span>2. Honestly, it would be hard to find someone who hasn&#8217;t at least heard of this resort. It&#8217;s located in the southern part of Costa Brava and is rightly considered the largest tourist center in the area. At the same time, it&#8217;s also the hub of nightlife and large hotel resorts.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"42\" data-end=\"378\">In the town, you&#8217;ll find the long Platja de Lloret city beach, which is particularly busy during the peak summer season. Llafranc<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2117\" data-end=\"2287\">An elegant resort found just a few minutes from Calella, offering a wider beach and a calmer atmosphere. The semi-circular bay with fine sand is one of the most pleasant swimming spots in the area.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2289\" data-end=\"2489\">I recommend visiting the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Sant Sebasti\u00e0 Lighthouse<\/span><\/span> above the town, which offers one of the best views of the coast. But the real draw is the surrounding beaches. For me, these include Aiguablava or Sa Riera. The turquoise water and rocky cliffs here are more reminiscent of Greek islands than the Spanish coast.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3137\" data-end=\"3305\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"8_Roses\"><\/span>8. Roses<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3365\" data-end=\"3507\">The town lies on the northern edge of a huge bay and offers some of the longest sandy beaches in the region. Roses is livelier than most Costa Brava villages, with a large harbor, a long promenade, and good restaurants. It&#8217;s also an ideal base for trips to the Cap de Creus Natural Park or Cadaqu\u00e9s.
